Modern life in all it forms is ruled by photography. I am going to try and talk about this with respect to how everything we do in this century is expressed as photograph in one form or another. Basically, I wish to whip up not only  interest in the modern art of photography, but in its significance and importance in usage in every facet of life.
The major tool used in making photographs, videos, films etc is the CAMERA

. The camera has evolved over the years since it came into existence many decades ago, so that in modern everyday life, every Tom, Dick and Harry has got access to a camera of one kind or another for the topic of interest to the party at heart. The profligacy of the camera has come about via courtesy of modern day SMARTPHONES! Hence irrespective of the age of people as well as academic level, social and cultural  advancement or the level of development of a country be it someone in the glittering lights of Hollywood in the US or the glaring lights of Oxford street in UK or a dim hamlet corner somewhere in Somalia. These all fall under the LENS of the camera which is in fact the EYES!!
Looking at the world of modern medicine, the probing eyes of the camera can be felt from the CLOSE CIRCUIT cameras installed in and out of a hospital premises as well as special probing items found in the endoscope, theatres, scanning machines etc.
Perhaps the most widely felt presence of the eyes of the camera is in the social or community domains. Parties, weddings, soccer and every nice as well as ugly thing is captured by the eyes of the camera. Thus the camera has become such a dominant force in the daily activities of everything, be it in politics, economics, scientific research, astronomy and what have you.
So life is now being controlled directly and indirectly from the eyes of a camera I can say. Don't you agree?
